In a post on his Instagram account, the Crown Prince said: “May God have mercy on my grandfather Hussein, the wise and generous leader… and may God grant a long life to the noblest of men, His Majesty our Master.”

Jordanians on Saturday mark the 27th anniversary of the Day of Loyalty to the late King Hussein bin Talal—may he rest in peace—and renew their allegiance to His Majesty King Abdullah II.

On the Day of Loyalty and Allegiance, Jordanians recall the 47-year journey of the founding King Hussein and continue the path of renaissance and modernization under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, so that Jordan remains a beacon of security, stability, and progress.

Since His Majesty assumed his constitutional powers, royal directives and initiatives have focused on improving citizens’ lives and strengthening the Kingdom’s development process, particularly through parallel tracks of political, economic, and administrative modernization, while enhancing the country’s ability to confront challenges.

At the international level, His Majesty has consolidated the Kingdom’s efforts to promote global stability. The year 2025 was marked by intensive royal meetings and visits to major world capitals, contributing to the strengthening of solid economic partnerships with sisterly and friendly countries.

Stemming from Jordan’s responsibility toward its brethren, Jordan has continued to defend the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.
