In an interview with Jordan Radio on Sunday, marking the anniversary of the Arabization of the Army Command (March 1st), the Minister noted that this historic decision—made 70 years ago in 1956 by the late King Hussein bin Talal (may his soul rest in peace)—constituted a pivotal turning point in the journey of the modern Jordanian state.

Addressing current regional developments, the Minister said that a comprehensive media plan has been implemented since the onset of these events. This plan aims to manage developments and provide citizens with real-time, transparent information in coordination with the Jordanian Armed Forces, the Public Security Directorate, and other competent authorities.

He stressed the importance of not being led by rumors or misinformation, noting that relevant authorities are monitoring accounts that spread false or offensive news. He affirmed that the law will be applied to anyone who insults the nation or undermines its security and stability.

Al-Momani concluded by emphasizing that maintaining the cohesion of the internal front is a shared responsibility. He urged everyone to verify accuracy and seek information from official sources, stressing that Jordan—with its leadership, army, and institutions—is capable, as always, of overcoming challenges and crises.

The Minister also noted that today, Sunday, coincides with the anniversary of the founding of Jordan Radio. He described it as the Kingdom’s "mother station," which for decades has served as a fundamental pillar of national discourse and played a leading role in enhancing public awareness and defending national interests.
