According to the strategy reviewed by Al-Mamlaka, the plan will place particular focus on senior citizens and persons with disabilities by producing digital awareness content that includes dedicated videos for digital services. The content will take into account inclusion and accessibility standards, incorporating sign language, written text, and audio content. These materials will be promoted through social media platforms as well as visual and audio media to ensure they reach the widest possible segment of the target audience.
The strategy states that implementation will begin in 2026 and conclude in 2028, and that the plan falls under Project No. 41 within the strategy.
Regarding the project’s objectives, the strategy explains that it aims to facilitate and enable beneficiaries—especially persons with disabilities and senior citizens—to access government services through unified government channels anytime and anywhere, while improving the user experience.
It also aims to enhance public awareness of the importance of digital transformation and digital government services.
As for key performance indicators, the strategy notes that these include the number of videos produced, as well as the number of videos designed to meet the needs of persons with disabilities.
Additional indicators include the percentage increase in the use of digital government services by less advantaged groups (by category), the number of digital government services covered by the awareness plan, and the level of beneficiary satisfaction with the awareness campaign.
