Al-Fayez stated that Jordan stands today on the front lines of a dangerous regional escalation, facing unprecedented challenges and becoming a direct target for Iranian attacks in blatant violation of international law and the UN Charter.

He added: "Jordan, with its wise Hashemite leadership, the awareness of its people, and the resilience of its armed forces and security agencies, will not bow to these challenges. Its sovereignty and national principles remain a red line. Under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Jordan will remain an impenetrable barrier against any attempts targeting its security and stability."

He emphasized that Jordan will not allow its territory and airspace to become an arena for any regional conflict, nor will it permit them to be used in any attack against any brotherly or friendly country, reiterating that Jordan is a state of peace and stability committed to the principles of good neighborliness and non-interference.

He explained that these clear Jordanian positions did not prevent the Iranian regime and its proxies in the region from targeting Jordan with missiles and drones that now threaten the safety of its territory and citizens, stressing that this is completely unacceptable.

Al-Fayez noted that confronting these challenges requires standing united behind His Majesty King Abdullah II in his continuous defense of national principles, sovereignty, security, and stability. He highlighted the necessity of rallying around national principles, the armed forces, and security agencies, describing them as the nation's shield and fortress that counter these attacks with high efficiency and unyielding resolve.

He said that the Senate calls upon the Jordanian people, along with all political, partisan, social, and national forces, to remain cohesive, vigilant, and supportive of the Hashemite leadership, armed forces, and national institutions to overcome these challenges. He stressed that all these forces must fulfill their role in confronting these challenges and Iranian attacks against Jordan, as no interest rises above the security and stability of the nation.

Al-Fayez called on the international community to assume its responsibilities, seriously work to stop Iranian attacks on Jordan and the Arabian Gulf states, enforce respect for international law, and affirm that Jordan's security is an integral part of the Gulf states' security, noting that any threat to the Kingdom impacts the stability of the entire region.

He concluded by stating that conflicts and wars yield no winners, which is why His Majesty King Abdullah II continually emphasizes at all regional and international levels the necessity of ending regional conflicts through political frameworks and adhering to international legitimacy resolutions.
