A Royal Jordanian Air Force medical evacuation aircraft brought a 27-year-old Jordanian man home from the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday after he was seriously injured in a road accident.

Maj. Gen. Majdi Mohammad Al-Harasis, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, ordered the flight on royal instructions, with a specialist medical team from the air force's medical service on board.
The commander of the air force medical service said the man sustained severe injuries and remains in critical condition. He arrived safely and is being transferred to King Hussein Medical City for continued treatment under specialists across several disciplines.
The man's family thanked King Abdullah II, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the armed forces for the evacuation.
