Amman - The 24th National Olive Festival and Rural Products Exhibition witnessed a "large" turnout on its first and second days, as a total of 74,559 people visited its avenues, the Ministry of Agriculture announced. On the first and second days, the ministry said a total of 25,373 and 49,186 visitors toured the exhibition, respectively. In a statement, the ministry noted the festival management decided to extend working hours on Friday until 11pm due to the large presence. The ministry also affirmed this turnout reflects the festival's success in achieving its economic and social goals, noting its continued efforts to empower small farmers and rural women by providing platforms to market their products and enhance their role in the local economy.
