Stetieh said that the ministry is facing several challenges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, which increased unemployment to 25 percent. But he added that should not prevent the existence of many job opportunities for Jordanian youth, inside and outside of the Kingdom.

Under Royal directives, he said, the focus is on arming Jordanian youth with the necessary skills to help them find jobs.

Next week, five technology-focused training centers will be inaugurated, he added.

The minister pointed out that a vocational center in Marka will be using technology for training in welding.

He urged parents to point their children to technical jobs to help solve unemployment.
