Drones Strike Area Near Khartoum Airport Ahead of Planned Reopening

Drones attacked the vicinity of Sudan Airport early Tuesday morning, just one day before the scheduled reopening of the airport for domestic flights, the first time in over two years.اضافة اعلان

Sounds of drones were heard over central and southern Khartoum, along with explosions near the airport during the morning.

The airport has been closed since fighting erupted between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces in April 2023, a conflict that caused significant destruction of infrastructure in the capital.
