Al-Wehdat leaves for Saudi Arabia

AMMAN  — Al-Wehdat players on Saturday left for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia ahead of the AFC Champions League’s group stage, slated to begin on April 14 and end on April 29. اضافة اعلان

Al-Wehdat will begin making their way through the tournament with a match against the Saudi Al-Nassr on April 14 as they compete for the lead in Group D.

The two teams will face off at the King Saud University Stadium at 9pm Jordan time.

Al-Wehdat will then play against the winner of the match between the Emirati Al-Ain and Iranian Foolad before concluding the ‘Home’ stage in a play against Qatar’s Al-Sadd.

Al-Wehdat will then resume the championship’s ‘Away’ stage with a second game against Al-Sadd on April 23, followed by Al-Nassr on April 26 and concluding with a match against the winner between Al-Ain and Foolad on April 29.

According to AFC regulations, 16 teams will qualify to the playoffs; the champion in each group and the best three runners up from each region’s group.

Al-Wehdat will play all of the above matches at 9pm, at the King Saud University Stadium.
