AMMAN — Al-Wehdat
players on Saturday left for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia ahead of the AFC Champions League’s
group stage, slated to begin on April 14 and end on April 29.

Al-Wehdat will begin making their way through the tournament
with a match against the Saudi Al-Nassr on April 14 as they compete for the
lead in Group D.
The two teams will face off at the King Saud University
Stadium at 9pm Jordan time.
Al-Wehdat will then play against the winner of the match
between the Emirati Al-Ain and Iranian Foolad before concluding the ‘Home’
stage in a play against Qatar’s Al-Sadd.
Al-Wehdat will then resume the championship’s ‘Away’ stage
with a second game against Al-Sadd on April 23, followed by Al-Nassr on April
26 and concluding with a match against the winner between Al-Ain and Foolad on
April 29.
According to AFC regulations, 16 teams will qualify to the
playoffs; the champion in each group and the best three runners up from each
region’s group.
Al-Wehdat will play all of the above matches at 9pm, at the
King Saud University Stadium.
