Boxing team jets off to Poland

Amman — The national boxing team on Saturday left for Kielce, Poland of their appearance in  the 2021 edition of the International Boxing Association’s Youth Men’s and Women’s World Boxing Championship.اضافة اعلان

The tournament has been scheduled between April 10 and April 24,,

“We held a joint (training) camp with the Olympic team to eliminate the youth team’s anxiety and jitters, and I fully believe in their ability to achieve (highly) at the international championship,” Coach Omar Al-Majali told Jordan News.

The following players will representJordan at the Polish tournament: Huthaifa Ishaish (52kg group), Fahad Al-Nimer (56kg), Anas Al-Saadi (69kg group), Abdullah Al-Araj (75kg group), Rashed Sweisat (81kg group) and Turki Al-Rawashdeh (91kg group).

Athletes Selena Al-Hasanat (48kg group) and Hanan Ayed (51kg group) will represent the national women’s team.
