Jordan's national under-20 football team lost to its Tajik counterpart 1-0, in a match held Sunday evening at Khalifa Sports Stadium in Bahrain, in the third and final round of the 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.

The identity of the qualifying team is expected to be determined once the match between Bahrain and Afghanistan, being played Sunday evening, concludes.
According to the tournament format, the qualifiers feature 32 national teams, divided into eight groups of four teams each. Group winners advance, along with the best seven second-placed teams, while the team finishing last in each group is relegated to the development stage in the next edition.
