Sales figures and announced targets reflect the performance of the entire group, which includes several global brands such as Geely Auto, Lynk & Co, Zeekr, Volvo Cars, and Proton.

The group recorded outstanding performance in 2025, with global sales reaching 4.116 million vehicles, marking a 26% year-on-year increase and achieving its fifth consecutive year of strong growth.

2030 Plan: Global Expansion and Ambitious Goals

Geely Holding Group aims to achieve annual global sales exceeding 6.5 million vehicles by 2030.

The group’s plans focus primarily on strengthening its growth within the Chinese market, considered its core market and the main revenue driver, by increasing market share in both conventional and electric vehicles and developing advanced technologies that meet rapidly growing domestic demand.

The company also seeks to generate revenues exceeding one trillion Chinese yuan, driven by expanding its product portfolio and strengthening its competitiveness within China.

Future Performance and Accelerated Growth

The group expects its annual sales to surpass 4 million vehicles by 2025, reflecting strong growth momentum driven by rising demand for electric vehicles and expansion into emerging markets, especially in Southeast Asia and Latin America.

It is also continuing to strengthen its presence in global markets by leveraging strategic partnerships with international companies such as Renault Group to develop and produce vehicles aimed at overseas markets.

Smart Technologies and Future Mobility

The strategy focuses on developing intelligent driving systems, with broad deployment of Level 2 autonomous driving technologies, expansion into Level 3 systems, and progress toward commercial operation of Level 4 autonomous driving.

The company also plans to launch a global fleet of 100,000 robotaxi vehicles by 2030 as part of an integrated smart mobility ecosystem based on vehicles specifically designed for these services.

Advances in Battery Technology

Geely also revealed major progress in solid-state battery technology, with testing of its first internally developed battery pack set to begin in 2026.

The company is working on technologies capable of achieving energy density exceeding 400 Wh/kg, which could enable future electric vehicles to reach driving ranges of more than 1,000 kilometers.
