Al Ittihad Schools have achieved a new educational milestone, adding to their distinguished record of excellence, after two of their educators were shortlisted for the Pearson International Education Awards 2026 for the Middle East region, selected from more than 1,250 nominations submitted from around the world.

The achievement was marked by the selection of Jala Akhou, the British Programme Coordinator at Al Ittihad Schools – International Branch, as a finalist in the “Leader of the Year” category, making her the only nominee from Jordan in that category.
In addition, Saed Al Tawal, a physics teacher at the school, was shortlisted in the “Teacher of the Year” category.
This accomplishment reflects the advanced academic and professional standards that distinguish Al Ittihad Schools, as well as the commitment of its educational staff to delivering an exceptional learning experience built on creativity, excellence, and innovation.
