The Kremlin announced on Saturday that Russian President Vladimir Putin will conduct an official visit to China on May 19 and 20.
The upcoming visit comes just days after U.S. President Donald Trump's visit to China.

According to a statement issued by the Kremlin, Putin is scheduled to hold talks with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, to discuss ways to "strengthen the comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation" between the two nations.
The Kremlin statement added that both presidents "will exchange views on the most prominent international and regional issues" and will sign a joint declaration at the conclusion of their talks.
The itinerary also features a meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang to discuss bilateral economic and trade cooperation, according to the statement.
Beijing views Moscow as a crucial partner in shaping a multipolar world order.
While China regularly calls for dialogue and respect for the sovereignty of all nations—an implicit reference to Ukraine—it has stopped short of condemning the Russian offensive against the country, positioning itself as a neutral party.
China remains Russia's most vital economic partner and the world's largest buyer of Russian fossil fuels, including petroleum products, which heavily bolsters the Russian war effort.
