Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona have agreed to the transfer of Spain international forward Ferran Torres to European champions Paris Saint-Germain for €50 million ($57 million), according to Spanish media reports.

The two European giants have reached a preliminary agreement for the 26-year-old to move to France on a five-year contract, according to reports citing sources at Barcelona.
The reports added that completing the formal procedures and undergoing a medical examination should be little more than a formality.
Torres has one year remaining on his contract and scored the winning goal for Spain in the 2026 World Cup final against Argentina.
A source at the Catalan club said Barcelona had rejected an initial €40 million ($46 million) offer on Monday.
Torres joined Barcelona in 2021 from English club Manchester City for more than €55 million ($63 million). Since German coach Hansi Flick took charge in the summer of 2024, Torres has generally been used as a backup center-forward behind Polish striker Robert Lewandowski.
Torres has frequently made a decisive impact as a substitute. The Valencia academy graduate scored 40 goals in 94 appearances across all competitions over the past two seasons.
He scored Spain’s winning goal in extra time of the World Cup final against Argentina last month, giving La Roja its second world title.
His departure would increase the urgency for Flick to find new attacking options following the departures of Lewandowski and England international Marcus Rashford.
Barcelona have already signed England forward Anthony Gordon from Newcastle and Germany international Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund.
