Amman — Jordan’s U-20 women’s national football team defeated Saudi Arabia 2–0 in a friendly match played on Saturday at the Jordan Football Association’s training fields, as part of preparations for upcoming competitions.اضافة اعلان

Riana Issa scored Jordan’s opening goal in the 40th minute, while Sama Al-Rousan added the second in the 81st minute.

Jordan’s starting lineup featured Sajda Issa, Lilia Al-Sahli, Rital Salameh, Jana Imad (Malak Yousef), Sadeen Al-Dhamen (Ghazal Daboubash), Julia Al-Safadi, Yara Al-Bisheh (Sama Al-Rousan), Riana Issa, Jana Al-Masri, Mira Jarrar and Dana Abu Hazeem (Rana Mahayyar).

Jordan delivered a strong performance throughout both halves, taking control from the outset and creating several opportunities to open the scoring. The team eventually took the lead through a penalty successfully converted by Riana Issa, ending the first half 1–0 ahead.

Jordan continued its attacking pressure after the break in search of a second goal and greater security. Saudi Arabia’s defense initially held firm, but Al-Rousan doubled Jordan’s lead with a powerful shot that found the back of the net, sealing a 2–0 victory.

The two teams will meet again on Tuesday, October 13, at the same time and venue.

The Jordan Football Association aims to provide the U-20 women’s team with training camps and friendly matches to ensure the highest level of preparation and support ahead of upcoming competitions.
