The Land Transport Regulatory Commission plans to launch a tender for the construction of a new departure and arrival center for public transport services in Salt in March 2027, following the completion of the project’s design work and necessary preparations, according to a statement issued by the commission on Thursday.

According to the statement, the project aims to upgrade public transport facilities in the city and provide a more organized and comfortable environment for passengers by improving waiting areas, facilitating passenger movement, and regulating bus departures and arrivals, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and service quality.
The project also includes an architectural design aimed at organizing the movement of buses and passengers within the center, contributing to an improved public transport experience for residents of the city.
