The Ministry of Public Works and Housing announced that, in coordination with the Traffic Department and the External Patrols Department of the Public Security Directorate, the lane heading from Salt toward Al-Arda will be closed in the Zai Bridge area, limited to the bridge itself.

The closure will take effect at 11 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2026, and remain in place until 6 a.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2026.
The ministry explained that the closure is necessary to allow the contractor to carry out maintenance work on the lighting tower atop the bridge, ensuring that the work is completed in accordance with public safety and traffic requirements.
The ministry urged citizens and road users to follow the instructions of ministry and Public Security Directorate personnel at the site and comply with warning and directional signs to ensure their safety and maintain smooth traffic flow.
