Tafileh Agriculture Directorate Director Bilal Al-Haloul said the Olive Presses Committee had inspected olive presses across the governorate to ensure production quality. He added that the directorate would continue providing technical support and guidance throughout the season, which is an important source of income for families in Tafileh.
He noted that the directorate is working to boost productivity by rehabilitating and maintaining springs that supply water to old olive groves, implementing projects to care for mature trees, intensifying agricultural pest-control campaigns, and encouraging farmers to expand olive cultivation while providing them with technical guidance.
