Activists and Turkish social media accounts circulated videos and photos showing fans raising two large banners in the stands, expressing protest and solidarity. One read, “Humanity has lost its conscience in Gaza,” while the other stated, “Freedom for Palestine.”

The gesture continues a pattern among supporters of major Turkish clubs, who have regularly used domestic and European matches to publicly express their support for Gaza and the Palestinian people.
