Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva continues to regain popularity, according to a new poll released Wednesday.
The survey, conducted by Genial/Quaest, found that approval of Lula’s government increased to 46% in August, up from 43% in July and 40% in May.

Conversely, disapproval fell to 51%, down from 53% last month and 57% in May, which had marked the highest rejection levels Lula faced during his three non-consecutive terms.
The poll surveyed 2,004 eligible voters through in-person interviews conducted between August 13–17, with a margin of error of ±2 percentage points.
