around 50,000 New Yorkers gathered at Washington Square Park despite the
pouring rain to participate in Sunday’s Global Day of Action for a Free
Palestine. The march, held amid Israel's ongoing bombardment of Gaza and the

millions worldwide who took to the streets in cities like Havana, Tokyo,
