In a report published Saturday evening, the newspaper stated that the amount of aid sent to Gaza in recent weeks is far less than what Trump publicly declared.

According to regional sources and statements from the U.S. State Department cited in the report, only $3 million was transferred to the Gaza Humanitarian Relief Foundation, an organization that operates under the supervision of the U.S. and Israel.

Trump had claimed: “We sent $60 million in food aid to Gaza.” However, the report clarified that this figure was inaccurate, and that the State Department corrected the number twice, confirming that only $30 million was allocated—of which just 10% (i.e., $3 million) has actually been disbursed.

Throughout the past week, Trump repeatedly stated that the U.S. had delivered $60 million in aid to Gaza, expressing frustration over what he described as a lack of gratitude from the Palestinians.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, Gaza’s Ministry of Health reported that 1,422 Palestinians have died from starvation while waiting for aid since May 27, with over 10,000 injured.
