Amman – The trilateral “Jordanian-Syrian-American” meeting began today, Tuesday, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, hosted by the Kingdom to discuss the situation in Syria and ways to support the process of rebuilding Syria on foundations that ensure its security, stability, sovereignty, meet the aspirations of its brotherly people, and safeguard the rights of all Syrians.اضافة اعلان

The meeting, held with the participation of Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Asaad Al-Shebani, the U.S. Ambassador to Turkey and U.S. Special Envoy for Syria Thomas Park, along with representatives from relevant institutions in the three countries, follows up on talks hosted in Amman on July 18 to discuss stabilizing the ceasefire in Suwayda Governorate in southern Syria and resolving the crisis there.

Prior to the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi met separately with Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shebani and U.S. Ambassador to Turkey and Special Envoy Thomas Park to discuss the situation in Syria and ongoing efforts in this regard.
