The Palestine Red Crescent Society said in a statement that Israeli forces, accompanied by a military bulldozer, raided the eastern part of Nablus and the vicinity of Joseph’s Tomb, firing toxic tear gas, which caused ten Palestinians to suffer from suffocation. The forces also closed Amman Street in the city with earth mounds.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army launched wide-scale raids and arrests across the West Bank, detaining dozens of Palestinians, including elderly individuals, as settlers continued attacking properties and agricultural lands.

According to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, Israeli forces stormed several areas under intense gunfire, arresting 15 Palestinians on allegations of being “wanted.”

In the south of Hebron, settlers set fire to three residential tents in Wadi al-Juwaya in Masafer Yatta, while others grazed their livestock on Palestinian farmlands, uprooted trees in al-Zuwaidin village, and attacked olive pickers in Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, forcing them to leave the area and damaging one farmer’s vehicle by pelting it with stones.

In occupied Jerusalem, dozens of settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque (Al-Haram Al-Sharif) from the Moroccan Gate, under tight protection from Israeli police.

The Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem reported that the settlers carried out provocative tours in the mosque’s courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern area and near the western colonnade facing the Dome of the Rock.

Israeli forces imposed severe restrictions on the entry of worshippers and Jerusalem residents, confiscating their ID cards at the mosque gates.

Widespread Jerusalemite calls have been renewed urging residents of Jerusalem and Palestinian citizens inside Israel to mobilize and remain stationed at Al-Aqsa Mosque to thwart Israeli and settler plans.

In a related development, Israeli authorities forced a Palestinian resident of Al-Tur neighborhood, east of Jerusalem, to demolish his own home.

The Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Al-Tur said the 110-square-meter house, which sheltered a family of seven, was demolished by its owner under a Jerusalem municipality order for allegedly being built without a permit.

The committee emphasized that the demolition is part of a systematic policy targeting Palestinian presence in the holy city.
