Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan stated that 159 countries have recognized the State of Palestine.
He confirmed that Saudi Arabia will provide $90 million in funding to support the Palestinian Authority.

“We are pleased that Washington is focusing on ending the war in Gaza, which aligns with the establishment of the State of Palestine,” he added.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meetings in New York, Prince Faisal noted that several Arab countries warned U.S. President Donald Trump about the potential annexation of the West Bank by Israel.
He said, “Several countries explained to Trump the dangers of any annexation of the West Bank, as it threatens not only peace in Gaza but peace in general.”
Saudi Arabia and France co-chaired the New York conference on recognizing the State of Palestine, which saw recognition from several countries including the United Kingdom, France, and Canada.
