UNRWA: Israeli Restrictions on Humanitarian Aid to Gaza Must Be Lifted

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) stated that its warehouses in Jordan and Egypt are full and ready to load approximately 6,000 aid trucks bound for the Gaza Strip.اضافة اعلان

In a post on X on Saturday, UNRWA emphasized that “the Israeli authorities’ restrictions on UNRWA humanitarian aid entering Gaza must be lifted.”

The agency reiterated that it has an effective system for distributing aid safely and on a large scale.

“Our warehouses in Egypt and Jordan are full and ready to load about 6,000 trucks” if Israel permits their entry, UNRWA added.

The agency stressed the necessity of allowing life-saving aid to be delivered via land routes.
