This message comes amid bloody field developments in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza, where the Israeli occupation army fell into a well-prepared ambush that resulted in deaths, injuries, and the disappearance of at least four soldiers.
In recent hours, the Israeli occupation army activated the “Hannibal Protocol” in an attempt to prevent its soldiers from being captured, after a force from the 162nd Division and the 401st Brigade was caught in a large-scale ambush in the neighborhood.
The clash left one soldier dead and others seriously wounded, while Israeli estimates indicated that four other soldiers were missing, raising fears that they had been captured by Al-Qassam.
This development comes as fierce, face-to-face fighting continues between resistance fighters and occupation forces in the streets of Al-Zaytoun. Israeli reports said that helicopters and artillery were heavily deployed to rescue the besieged troops, while widespread illumination flares were fired into Gaza’s skies. – Agencies
