Munir Al-Bursh, Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, stated in a press release that hospitals in the Strip recorded "four new deaths due to acute malnutrition" in the last 24 hours.

He added, "This brings the total number of victims of famine and malnutrition to 197 martyrs, including 96 children."

UN agencies and local organizations have warned that the ongoing blockade and prevention of humanitarian aid could lead to mass child deaths, as the health and living conditions in Gaza continue to deteriorate and the medical system collapses entirely.

Despite the accumulation of aid trucks at the entrances to Gaza, Israel continues to block their entry or control distribution without UN supervision, allowing only extremely limited quantities—described by UN and international reports as “a drop in the ocean.”
