The office strongly condemned what it described as the systematic targeting, killing, and assassination of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli occupation, calling on the International Federation of Journalists, the Arab Journalists Union, and all press organizations worldwide to denounce these ongoing crimes against journalists and media workers in Gaza.
The statement also urged the international community, along with all journalism and media-related organizations around the world, to hold the Israeli occupation accountable, pursue it in international courts, and work to bring its perpetrators to justice. It further called for serious and effective pressure to stop the ongoing genocide and to protect journalists and media professionals operating in the Gaza Strip.
