According to Al-Mamlaka, the doctor, Mads Gilbert, emphasized that these allegations have been made by Israeli authorities since 2009 and stated that he did not see any resistance leaders from Hamas or Islamic Jihad at the hospital. Instead, he saw Ministry of Health employees, medical staff, and civilians.

He called the Israeli claims a propaganda lie, suggesting that Israel makes such accusations to empty and then target hospitals. According to Gilbert, over 122,000 displaced people have sought refuge in Gaza's hospitals, causing them to become crowded with casualties, ordinary patients, and displaced individuals.

He said 37% of the casualties in Gaza occurred in the southern Gaza Strip, where the Israeli military urged Gazans to take shelter. He also mentioned that hospitals in Gaza received threats from the Israeli military, demanding the evacuation of hospitals to avoid bombings, leaving them in a state of fear and tension.
