Israeli media: Flydubai flight carrying about 100 Israelis changes course and returns to Dubai

Israeli media outlets reported that there are fears of a hijacking attempt on a plane that was heading from the UAE to Israel.

Israel's Army Radio reported that "a plane belonging to Flydubai, heading from Dubai to Tel Aviv, activated the emergency code and sent a distress signal."اضافة اعلان
The newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth said there are around 150 Israelis on board the plane.

Channel 13 reported that attempts to contact the pilot have so far failed.
