TEL AVIV — "Israel’s Democracy Movement " has accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of burning documents and destroying evidence in an attempt to evade responsibility for the “Al-Aqsa Flood" conducted by Hamas on October 7, 2023z These allegations were put forth in a letter sent to the government's legal advisor, Gali Baharav Miyara, by the movement.اضافة اعلان

In their message, the movement described the Hamas operation as a "complete intelligence and operational surprise." They claim that Netanyahu has been actively erasing evidence and obstructing any future investigative committees, which would seek to clarify his role in the failures during this event. They have called upon the legal advisor to take immediate action to prevent the destruction of documents, recover any information that may have been burned or erased, and ensure the protection of all data both before and after the Hamas attack, Al-Ghad reported.

As of now, Netanyahu has not issued a prompt response to these accusations. He has refrained from accepting responsibility for the Hamas attack, while various security officials and political figures have acknowledged their failure to anticipate the attack.
