GAZAEuro-Med Human Rights Monitor's latest report has unveiled the grim reality that an average of 100 children lose their lives daily due to Israeli military actions. Since the commencement of the extensive military offensive on October 7, 2023, the death toll in Gaza has soared to 3,478, as confirmed by the Palestinian Ministry of Health's spokesman, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, who revealed that more than 70 percent of the victims belong to the most vulnerable groups - children, women, and the elderly.اضافة اعلان

1,046 Palestinian children have lost their lives
The report also highlights that 1,046 Palestinian children have lost their lives, based on the most recent data available. Meanwhile, an additional 167 children are believed to be trapped beneath the rubble of decimated residential buildings, awaiting a lifeline that may never come.

Furthermore, the study has meticulously documented 3,250 other children who are enduring various wounds, with 1,240 of them in dire need of specialized medical care. 

Children make up over 45 percent of the local population
This crisis profoundly affects Gaza's children, constituting over 45 percent of the local population, and places them at severe risk of developing profound psychological symptoms, including nocturnal terror, hallucinations, extreme fear, and debilitating sleep disturbances. The enduring trauma could cast a long shadow over their lives, threatening to haunt them in the years to come.
