TEL AVIV – Dr. Azzam Abu Al-Addas, a specialist in Israeli affairs, stated on Monday that the Israeli right, under the leadership of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, does not want any agreement with the Palestinian resistance and has set red lines to obstruct any negotiations.اضافة اعلان

Dr. Addas further explained to Jo24 that the war cabinet would reject the new deal due to members of the government refusing a long-term truce and the release of a large number of Palestinian prisoners, as well as withdrawing the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) from Gaza without achieving any victory.

In terms of the Israeli captives in Gaza, Dr. Addas specified that Israeli ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich have indicated that they consider the Israeli captives dead and do not want to end the war or yield to the resistance’s conditions.

Dr. Addas also highlighted that Netanyahu leaks some news through the media about negotiations for prisoner release to absorb the anger of the Israeli public. However, he simultaneously rejects any solutions proposed to stop the war.

The occupation’s sole goal now is survival, Dr. Addas stated. Their belief is that “there is no safety for them except through strength,” which is why they want to secure the borders with a protective wall.

Finally, Dr. Addas anticipated that Netanyahu aims to continue the war until February 2025, specifically until the end of the US elections, in order to secure American support for his government until the 2026 Israeli elections. He emphasized that Netanyahu, who rejects any investigation into the war on Gaza, plans to file a lawsuit before the Supreme Court to escape accountability and punishment.
