The Syrian Civil Aviation Authority announced the resumption of direct flights between Syria and Libya via Syrian Airlines, as part of government efforts to facilitate travel for Syrians living abroad.

The head of the Civil Aviation Authority, Ashhad Al-Suleibi, confirmed that flights will resume next week and will operate as follows:
Damascus → Tripoli – Benghazi
Aleppo → Tripoli – Benghazi
This marks another step in Syria’s reactivation of international air travel. Just last month, Syrian Airlines resumed flights to Istanbul, ending a 12-year suspension of service to Turkey.
The move is seen as part of broader regional reintegration efforts following years of isolation due to Syria’s conflict.
