The meeting, as reported by Amad, included various entities within the Israeli civil administration, the Ministry of Defense, and representatives of the security establishment.

The Hebrew newspaper highlighted that the meeting primarily focused on formulating a new policy concerning the demolition of buildings deemed "illegal" within Area C

It was underscored that the central objective of these policy changes is to facilitate an increase in Jewish construction activities in Area C, while simultaneously putting a stop to Palestinian construction initiatives in those same regions.

‘Very dangerous’Speaking to the newspaper, a security source acknowledged the challenges associated with this endeavor, stating that it extends beyond American involvement and also encompasses the Arab world. Moreover, the source emphasized the significance of the direct relationship with the Palestinians.

“There is a political level that encourages legal construction in coordination with the Americans, which is welcome. However, there are entities that allow the establishment of settlements illegally, and this is very dangerous," the source added.
