Israeli Foreign Ministry: South Africa is the ‘legal arm of Hamas’

Israeli Foreign Ministry Spokesman Lior Haiat said that South Africa “is functioning as the legal arm of Hamas" and accused Pretoria of “ignoring the fact that Hamas terrorists infiltrated Israel, murdered, executed, slaughtered, raped, and kidnapped Israeli citizens just because they were Israelis, in an attempt to carry out genocide," the Times of Israel reported.

In his tweet, Haiat said that South Africa “seeks to allow Hamas to return to commit the war crimes, crimes against humanity, and sexual crimes they committed repeatedly on October 7.”
