Israel believed to be behind killing of Hamas official in Beirut

BEIRUT – On Tuesday evening, an explosion occurred in the southern suburb of Beirut.

Reports say that an Israeli drone attack in Al-Musharrafieh, neighborhood in Beirut's southern suburb targeted and killed Saleh Al Arouri, a senior Hamas official. At least four others were also killed. 

Israeli media was the first to confirm Arouri's assassination.
