German Foreign Minister: Israeli Measures in Gaza Are Disproportionate
German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said on Wednesday that the measures taken by Israel in Gaza are “disproportionate,” emphasizing the need to achieve a two-state solution through negotiations between Palestinians and Israelis.اضافة اعلان

He stressed that “any solution cannot be imposed from outside,” adding that Germany will review its response to the ongoing events in Gaza in coordination with its European Union partners, including options for imposing sanctions.

At the same time, Wadephul called on European countries to increase their military and financial support for Ukraine, following remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump, who said that Kyiv is capable of regaining all its territories occupied by Russia.

In an interview with Deutschlandfunk radio, he stated: “We can achieve more if European countries fulfill all the commitments they have long promised to Ukraine. We need to consider other financial and military options available to us.”

Trump had said on Tuesday that Russia faces “major economic problems” and urged Ukraine to act swiftly to reclaim its territories, comments which Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described as a “major shift.”

It remains unclear whether these statements will translate into concrete U.S. policy actions, such as the imposition of new strict sanctions on Moscow, especially since Trump had previously suggested that Ukraine could cede territory to achieve peace.
