The Ministry of Health in Gaza has warned that repeated threats of evacuation and bombardment near hospitals are severely disrupting the work of medical teams and putting the remaining health facilities at risk of collapse.

In a statement issued today, the Ministry stressed that medical staff, patients, and the wounded lack safe routes to reach hospitals amid ongoing evacuation orders and continued shelling.
It added that specialized healthcare services for patients and the injured—already limited to the few operational hospitals—are facing dire shortages of medical supplies and are on the verge of being forced out of service.
The Ministry highlighted that Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis remains the only functioning major hospital serving hundreds of patients and wounded individuals in the southern Gaza Strip. Any disruption to its operations, it said, would result in catastrophic consequences.
“We cannot afford to wait any longer for interim solutions that fail to meet the minimum standards of emergency and routine healthcare,” the statement emphasized.
The Ministry also warned of Israel’s continued disregard for international efforts aimed at enhancing medical supply flows, protecting hospitals, and ensuring the safe access of patients, the injured, and healthcare workers to treatment facilities.
