The Israeli army stated that the missile launched this morning landed in an open area outside Israel. Yesterday, Israeli forces had reported intercepting a missile fired from Yemen, which triggered air raid sirens in some areas.

The Israeli army radio reported that two missiles were detected from Yemen: one fell into the sea, and the other was intercepted by Israeli air defenses. The Yemeni missiles again forced Israelis to take shelter in bomb shelters.

Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Sari’ said yesterday that their forces successfully targeted a sensitive site west of occupied Jerusalem with a missile and struck a target in Haifa using a drone, achieving the intended objectives.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Houthis announced carrying out four military operations using four drones against targets in Israel, including the headquarters of the Israeli General Staff in Jaffa and Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv. They also claimed to have targeted a vessel linked to Israel in the northern Red Sea.

On August 28, Israel carried out airstrikes in Sanaa, claiming to target Houthi leaders. The Houthis later confirmed the killing of their Prime Minister Ahmed Al-Rahwi and several ministers in the Israeli strikes, with Chief of Staff Major General Mohammed Al-Ghamari vowing a harsh response against Israel.

The Houthi group has been conducting military operations against Israel since November 2023 in support of Gaza and has also clashed with the United States before reaching an agreement to halt mutual attacks in regional maritime routes.
