Government Spokesperson and Minister of Government Communications, Mohammad Al-Momani, emphasized that Jordan, under the leadership of King Abdullah II, maintains a firm stance against terrorism and extremism, having made significant sacrifices to safeguard its security and regional stability.

Al-Momani made his remarks while sponsoring the initiative “Awareness of the Dangers of Terrorism and Countering Media Campaigns Inciting Terrorism”, organized by the Islamic Military Alliance Center for Combating Terrorism. He stressed that combating extremism is not limited to the military field but extends to schools, universities, and media platforms by shielding youth from the propaganda of extremist groups.
“We will not allow extremist ideologies to find their way to our generations,” Al-Momani affirmed.
He also warned about the dangers of “awareness-distorting campaigns” that target collective minds, aiming to spread doubt and weaken trust in institutions.
Al-Momani highlighted that Jordanian–Saudi cooperation reflects a strategic partnership with shared vision and destiny in fighting terrorism and extremist ideologies. He emphasized that the joint message is that terrorism is an attack on human values, and that Islam is a religion of mercy, tolerance, and justice.
