The Israeli occupation army intensified its land, sea, and air bombardment at dawn and on Saturday morning, targeting various areas across the Gaza Strip that fall within the territories it occupies.

These actions mark new violations of the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 10 of last year.
According to Anadolu Agency, the shelling struck the eastern areas of Gaza City and the town of Beit Lahia in the north, the eastern parts of Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central region, and the city of Rafah along with the towns of Al-Qarara and Bani Suhaila east of Khan Younis in the south.
In the northern Gaza Strip, Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on the Al-Shujaiya and Al-Tuffah neighborhoods in eastern Gaza City.
Israeli military vehicles also opened fire toward the eastern parts of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City, while artillery forces shelled multiple areas in the town of Beit Lahia.
Meanwhile, Israeli naval vessels opened fire off the coast of Gaza City, aiming to intimidate Palestinian fishermen operating within limited zones offshore.
Despite the ceasefire between Hamas and the Israeli occupation, Tel Aviv has continued to ban fishing in the Gaza Strip since the start of its war on Gaza in October 2023.
The Israeli occupation forces routinely pursue and detain fishermen, depriving them of their only source of income amid catastrophic economic conditions.
In central Gaza, Israeli artillery also shelled areas east of Al-Bureij refugee camp.
In the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli warplanes launched intensive strikes on eastern Rafah and the towns of Al-Qarara and Bani Suhaila east of Khan Younis.
The Israeli occupation continues to violate the ceasefire it signed with Hamas, having carried out around 497 violations and killed more than 342 Palestinians since October 10, according to a statement by the Gaza Government Media Office last Saturday.
The Israeli war on Gaza, which began on October 8, 2023 and continued for two years, has resulted in more than 69,000 martyrs and over 170,000 wounded Palestinians, most of them women and children, in addition to massive destruction. The United Nations has estimated the cost of reconstruction at around $70 billion.
