Israeli human rights organization B’Tselem said Israel is carrying out a project aimed at “erasing Palestinians as a people” in the occupied West Bank through policies designed to entrench Israeli presence and sovereignty.

The organization said Monday that Israel is using “ethnic cleansing, intimidation, movement restrictions and economic strangulation” in the West Bank as part of a policy targeting Palestinians as a group.
B’Tselem said Israel operates an apartheid system in the West Bank while carrying out “genocide” in the Gaza Strip.
