In an interview with the American network PBS News, Araghchi declared: "We are ready to continue missile strikes against them as long as necessary and whenever necessary," noting that negotiations with the United States are "no longer on the table" for Tehran.
The United States and Israel have been conducting airstrikes against Iran since Saturday, February 28, which resulted in the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Since then, Tehran has retaliated by striking Israel and other regional countries with missiles and drones.
