Palestine Requests Emergency Arab League Meeting to Address Occupation Decisions
Palestine’s Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Ambassador Muhannad Al-Aklouk, announced that the Palestinian Authority submitted an urgent request on Monday to convene an extraordinary session of the Arab League Council at the level of permanent representatives as soon as possible. The aim is to discuss ways to pursue Arab and international action to confront the recent aggressive decisions issued by the Israeli occupation government.اضافة اعلان

In a statement to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), Al-Aklouk said that the request for the meeting comes in light of the recent aggressive decisions by the Israeli occupation government, which seek to expand settlements, demolish homes, seize private and public land, and transfer the powers of the Hebron municipality to the so-called “Civil Administration” of the occupation authorities. This includes undermining the status and situation of the Ibrahimi Mosque.

He added that these invalid decisions represent a continuation of the comprehensive Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, their land, holy sites, and property, and further entrench policies of annexation and expansion.

Al-Aklouk called on member states to act at all bilateral and multilateral levels to curb these Israeli occupation decisions and aggressive practices, which threaten security, stability, and peace in the region and the world.
