The office of the Israeli occupation's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, said on Thursday that he will not travel to the United States next week due to the postponement of Senator Lindsey Graham's funeral.

Graham has held South Carolina's seat in the Senate since 2003 and was one of the most prominent figures of the Republican Party, known for his hawkish stances on foreign policy and defense, as well as his close alliance with US President Donald Trump in recent years.
A senior Israeli official had told Reuters on Wednesday that Netanyahu would head to the United States on Saturday.
The official added that Netanyahu wishes to meet with US President Donald Trump, but it was not yet clear whether that would happen.
Netanyahu's office had sought to arrange a meeting with Trump last week, following the last meeting between the two officials on February 11 in the White House Situation Room.
Among the reasons for Netanyahu's desire to meet with Trump quickly is the effort to restore trust, which has been damaged since the war with Iran, as statements from Trump's inner circle have increasingly suggested that Netanyahu's assessments were incorrect.
