Israeli forces continued to violate the ceasefire and fragile truce in the Gaza Strip on Monday, carrying out air and artillery strikes near areas sheltering displaced people, as well as demolition and destruction operations, amid restrictions on the movement of aid, goods and people.

Two Palestinians Martyred in Latest Gaza Violations
Two Palestinians were martyred, one of them from wounds sustained earlier, and others were injured on Monday amid continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire in Gaza.
Palestinian media, citing a local source, reported that at least one Palestinian was martyred and several others injured after Israeli aircraft targeted a tent sheltering displaced people near the Martyrs of Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.
The source identified the martyr as Mohammad Nasser Abu Asad, who joined his mother and siblings, who had previously been martyred when their home was targeted at the beginning of the war.
Palestinian Hazem Bassam Mousa was also martyred after succumbing to wounds sustained in an Israeli attack in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
Israeli Violations Continue Across Gaza
In the latest developments, Israeli artillery shelled the Al-Mughraqa area in central Gaza, while Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Gaza Death Toll Since October 7
Earlier, Gaza’s Health Ministry said the death toll from Israel’s offensive had risen to 73,420 martyrs, with 174,369 people wounded, since October 7, 2023.
The ministry said thousands of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, amid difficulties faced by rescue teams in reaching them.
Hamas Warns Against Using Kites to Justify Escalation
On Sunday, Hamas warned of the dangers posed by Israeli claims and threats concerning what Israel describes as the “launching of kites,” stressing that they are essentially children’s toys used in displacement camps in the remaining parts of the Gaza Strip.
The group said Israeli threats based on what it described as fabricated pretexts were an attempt to justify the continuation of attacks and violations against the Palestinian people, including threats against children in Gaza.
Hamas called on the US administration, mediating and guarantor countries, and the Board of Peace to pressure Israel to halt what it described as the escalation of attacks against Palestinians. It warned that continued violations were aimed at undermining the ceasefire process, which it said the Palestinian side remains fully committed to.
The statements followed threats issued by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz, including warnings of assassinations and the evacuation of neighborhoods in Gaza in response to what Israel claims are the launching of “kites” and “balloons” from Gaza toward settlements adjacent to the Strip.
Israeli media reported in recent days that several kites had fallen after allegedly being launched from Gaza toward communities near the Strip, noting that they were not carrying explosives.
The office of the Israeli prime minister also threatened to evacuate areas from which it said balloons, drones and kites were being launched, warning that it would intensify targeting of those responsible if Hamas did not immediately halt the launches.
4,379 Israeli Violations of Gaza Ceasefire
Gaza’s Government Media Office issued a report on Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement as the truce entered its 315th day. The report documented continued violations, Palestinian deaths and injuries, as well as restrictions on humanitarian aid and travel through the Rafah border crossing.
According to the report, Israel has committed 4,379 violations of the ceasefire since it took effect, resulting in 1,286 Palestinians being martyred and 4,257 others wounded. Israeli forces also detained 180 Palestinians during the ceasefire period.
The Government Media Office said the remains of 813 martyrs had been recovered from beneath the rubble, while more than 8,000 martyrs remain beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings across the Strip.
Restrictions on Aid Entering Gaza
The report said 66,607 aid trucks had entered Gaza since the ceasefire began, out of 189,000 trucks that were supposed to have entered by the 315th day of the agreement.
According to the figures, the compliance rate for allowing aid into Gaza stood at only around 35%, reflecting continued restrictions on the flow of humanitarian supplies to the population.
Restrictions on Travel Through Rafah
The report also said Israeli authorities had allowed only 11,759 travelers to leave Gaza, out of 29,800 people who were supposed to have been permitted to travel since the agreement to reopen the Rafah crossing.
The compliance rate for facilitating travelers’ passage stood at around 39%, according to the report.
Six Gaza Detainees Released
On Sunday evening, Israeli authorities released six detainees from Gaza after they had been held for varying periods following their detention at different locations across the Strip during the war.
The released detainees arrived at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, accompanied by teams from the International Committee of the Red Cross, according to Palestinian media citing local sources.
Remains of Four Martyrs Recovered in Zeitoun
Civil defense teams tasked with recovering martyrs from beneath the rubble said on Sunday that they had recovered the remains of four martyrs from the Abu Shamala family home in Gaza City’s Zeitoun neighborhood.
The recovery operation followed two days of fieldwork at the site, which had been targeted in an Israeli strike during the war.
