Boxer Hussein Ishaish qualifies for Olympics quarterfinals

AMMAN — Jordanian boxer Hussein Ishaish on Tuesday defeated Ecuadorian boxer Julio Castillo with a 4-0 win in round 16 of the under-91kg weight competition at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.اضافة اعلان

Ishaish will fight Brazilian Abner Texeira for the Bronze medal next Friday.

Earlier today, his brother, Ziad Ishaish, lost to Mauritius’ Mervin Clair in round 16 of the under-69kg match at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
